Of course having the ODIs vs South Africa would be costly to run, just the price of the air fare alone would be staggering, but also where would the income come from, certainly not for spectators, and which obscure Broadcaster will be pick up, the rights?
I know I've banged on about this before, but surely playing them at non-100 grounds in August, there are 4 in the midlands all within 1hr of Birmingham would make more sense, the travel costs must be lower, and the attendance has got to be better, Ryan Air Dublin to Birmingham less than £50, plus 1st and 2nd generations living in England plus local interested fans.
